Did you ever get a BLT with like 3 strips of anemic bacon? This is why I always go for a burger instead. Well, that, and the fact that their burgers are amazing! But today, it was time to take the chance on the BLT-it was FANTASTIC! Piled high with more bacon strips than I could count, sweet, juicy tomatoes, crisp, fresh lettuce, the works! Paired with their delicious beer-battered onion rings, I definitely did not go hungry! Drinks here are great, but they have EXCEPTIONAL FOOD and friendly service. Definitely recommend!

The vibe in this small town bar is immaculate. I'm from out of town and met a friend here for dinner. Everyone was super kind and welcoming. Service was top notch. The food was quite good as well. Which is very impressive considering the kitchen is behind the bar. This is a great bar/grill and the friendly nature of the staff and patrons made my day. I will certainly be coming back. Thanks for making my first experience in Coal City a great one. Just don't forget to bring cash.

Went here for lunch because I was in the area and was told that it was a good burger spot. I ordered the regular cheeseburger with a side of onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. I was very impressed with the burger, as it had a large patty with a lot of flavor and two different types of cheese. The bun was also very soft and toasted on one side. I was also quite impressed with the well fried onion rings. The atmosphere in this establishment was quite nice, however it was a bit quiet for my taste. The only criticism I had was that the sodas were sold per can and there was no fountain options. It is also worth mentioning that they only accept cash which was a slight disappointment. Overall worth visiting

Food was great for bar food and hot. Did take twenty five mins or so for our group put in 5 orders at once with appetizers. We were there the in afternoon. Bloody mary was good also. Was dark in the back dinning room had to use phones to see menu. Lots of menu items fried chicken burgers pizza (bar stuff). Would go back.

It's a good place to stop and get a burger. The drinks are delicious and the bartenders are gorgeous. The crowd is fun and you never know who you'll meet. From bikers to models I've met them all here

Went her last Sunday and had a great lunch with my girlfriend. We both ordered cheeseburgers which both came out fast, hot, and delicious! I ordered my with fried pickles which were very good. She got the Mac and cheese bites which were fricken awesome! Just wish the ranch was a bit thicker and not so runny. The burger was great. Big, juicy, and just all around awesome. Would have liked a better quality mayo since the packet it came with sucked. All around good quality cheeseburger though. My girl had a Bloody Mary and I grabbed a sip and it was good as well. Could have been garnished a bit better but was still super good. Nice laid back atmosphere and wasn’t too loud inside. Will be back. Probably make it a once a month thing now since it’s just in town and not a far drive.

Great burger place. Extensive burger choices. Coleslaw was delish. Appetizer list is good too. Have to order at bar but will serve you at table. Cash only. Might be a wait depending on day and time; its worth it!
